Thank you for your interest in taking part in my Artist in Residence portrait project.
I'm Andrew Green, Artist in Residence at Hunter Street TAFE, and I'm exploring identity through creative studio portrait photography. My goal is to create thoughtful, artistic portraits that celebrate the individuality of the people I photograph.
Every session is built on trust, respect and collaboration. Whether you're comfortable in front of a camera or it's your very first time, you'll be welcomed into a relaxed and supportive environment where you can simply be yourself.
Before every portrait session, we'll spend some time getting to know each other and talking about your ideas, interests and what you'd like to express through your portraits. Together, we'll develop a concept that reflects your personality and helps create images that are meaningful to you.
This isn't about being a model or knowing how to pose. We'll work together to create portraits that reflect your personality, interests and individuality—not just your appearance.
Photography is something we create together, not something that's done to you.

What to Expect
- A relaxed, creative studio portrait session in a safe and supportive environment with a photography assistant present.
- An informal conversation before your session to discuss ideas, themes and how we can create something meaningful together.

- Creative collaboration throughout the session.
- Professional, high-quality portraits to keep.
- Studio sessions are conducted within the Hunter Street TAFE photography studios under the supervision of TAFE staff.
- An opportunity to be part of my Artist in Residence project.
