Photography has always been my way of engaging with the world. It gives me purpose, structure, and a creative outlet that continues to evolve with me. Over the years, photography has become not just something I do, but a meaningful part of who I am — helping me tell stories, explore emotion, and stay connected to the community around me.

My motorsport photography journey actually began long before AJGreen Photography existed. I first picked up a camera trackside in 2003, drawn instantly to the sound, speed, and energy of racing. What started as casual shooting quickly became a passion — a way to freeze the intensity of motorsport in a single frame.
But it wasn’t until 2017 that I formalised this passion into the brand AJGreen Photography. From that point forward, I committed myself to motorsport and automotive storytelling with purpose and identity. AJGreen Photography became the home for high-speed action, dramatic lighting, and the emotional moments that unfold both on and off the track.

As my experience grew, so did my desire to explore photography beyond motion and machinery. In 2025, I launched Penumbra Imagery, a brand dedicated to creativity, emotion, and artistic depth.
Penumbra is my expressive space — a place to work with mood, subtlety, and storytelling that isn’t driven by speed, but by feeling. Whether it’s fine-art imagery, conceptual work, or atmospheric human stories, this brand allows me to slow down and create photographs that invite reflection and emotion.

To unify my creative work, I established Andrew Green Media in 2026. This umbrella brand represents the full spectrum of my photography — from the adrenaline of motorsport to the introspective artistry of Penumbra Imagery.
It also marks the next chapter of my personal journey. As part of my transition from the Air Force, photography has become a way for me to stay connected to the world while still having the space and control needed to manage my health. Completing my Certificate IV and Diploma in Photography & Digital Imaging by the end of 2027 forms a core part of this evolution, giving me formal training to support my creative growth.
Photography lets me explore the world at my own pace. It gives me control when I need it and creativity when I crave it. It connects me to people, places, and moments in a way that feels genuinely fulfilling.
Andrew Green Media is not a business — it is a passion project, a long-term creative journey, and a personal space where I continue to grow. Through AJGreen Photography and Penumbra Imagery, I get to express the two sides of my creative identity: the thrill of motion and the emotion of light.
And this is just the beginning.
